10 Things You Didn’t Know About Orgasm
Tantric Relationships: A Total Alignment Of Energies
Posted by: | CommentsThe way I would describe a tantric relationship is one in which the concept of separation is totally dissolved. The “I” and the “me” is no longer when there is a total alignment of energies between partners.
Living in a society where individualism is highly regarded as opposed to a collectivist outlook makes it so that most people don’t wish for the absolution of their individual selves, when they enter into a union of love with another.
But in any relationship, whether tantric or not contains an interplay of energies that can either work in your favor to draw your partner to you or away from you. Like the two complementary opposing poles of a magnet. One way they can bond together and the strength of the bond is more powerful then the one magnet holds by itself, being solo. The other way with the opposing poles, no matter how much you try to jam them together, they will never connect.
This my friends is the difference between a relationship of power versus force.
Beyond the intellect, there is a notion of the fine dance of the energies. When we are in harmony, is it not true that it is hard to tell the difference between the dancer and the dance? When one can set themselves alone or with a partner, whom the Celts would refer to as an “Anam Cara” or “friend of the soul”, one can take the time, in the time that one has, to set aside and embrace the moment of now… Soul-Gazing into one another. Seeing, feeling and hearing the other as oneself…or so they say.
Always enter into a union of this nature with energy that is balanced and pure of thought…Never forceful. Again, this is the difference between getting to do something and having to do something.
While many people think that the opposite of love is hate. Nothing could be further from the truth. Love and hate both hold strong bonds. One comes from a positive polarity, while the other comes from a negative polarity and lest we forget that the laws of the universe clearly state that what we put in through our thoughts in any meditation, comes back to us four-fold.
This begs the intellectual to question, what then is the opposite of this complementary opposite we call love and hate?
Apathy.
Tantric Energy Balancing Exercise
Posted by: | CommentsThe tantric exercise that I’m about to share with you, is for grounding and balancing energies between your root and the crown chakras. While it helps in releasing stagnant or trapped energies in the body, it also allows energy to flow more freely through the chakras by preventing energetic blockages from developing.
This exercise was first introduced to me by Steve P, creator of White Tiger Tantra . Because of its sheer simplicity and imperceptibility to other people, it can be comfortably practiced anywhere and many times throughout the day. For best results, practice alone and with your eyes closed.
Find a comfortable seat. With your feet flat on the ground and arms uncrossed…
- Step 1: Take a slow, deep breath through your nose and into the navel. Hold it there for a second.
- Step 2: Slowly exhale through your mouth and imagine your breath shooting down into the center of the earth, through the soles of your feet. This will help ground your energy.
- Step 3: As you inhale, draw the breath up from the center of the earth, up your spine, until it reaches the point between your neck and your head. Hold your breath and focus on this point for a few seconds.
- Step 4: Exhale and imagine your breath shooting up through your crown chakra, to the edges of the universe. Focus your attention there and imagine above you is a big ball of white light.
- Step 5: As you inhale and draw the white light from the edges of the universe, down your spine, until it reaches your tailbone. Hold your breath and attention there for a second. This part helps energy balancing.
- Step 6: Slowly exhale and allow your energy to shoot down from your root chakra, back down into the center of the earth, through the soles of your feet.
- Step 7: As a final step, quickly inhale and focus on your navel. Quickly exhale and focus on your crown chakra at the top of the head. Repeat step 7, for a total of 4 breaths.
**On the fourth breath, open your eyes and feel the energy flow through your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes, spreading everywhere, starting anywhere.
Now, to clarify some important points…
- Learning to breathe deeply into the belly can be difficult for some people at first, particularly if they breathe high up in the chest. It will get significantly easier with practice and patience.
- Many people find that imagining their breath as a white light running through them very helpful.
- Breathe calmly during this exercise. Stress and tension, will only restrict the flow of energy in the body. Remember that it’s part physical, but mostly mental.
- Eventually you should be able to accomplish steps 1 to 6 in a total of 3 breaths.
- Make sure you inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth (as though you have a small straw in your mouth.)
What the Tantric Energy Balancing Exercise will do for you…
A lot of people report feeling a calmer and more balanced energy running through their body. While some people may feel the effects instantly, others need more practice to tune into the subtle energies in their bodies.
Test it out. See how you feel, but please report back to me. I would love to hear about your experiences or any questions that you may have!
I Am Whatever You Imagine I Am
Posted by: | Comments“I want to live, I want to give. I’ve been a miner for a heart of gold.”-Neil Young
I am a creation of your mind, your beliefs, attitudes and your prejudices. If you look for the ugly, the cruel and the vile in me, you will surely find it. If you look for the love, the kindness and beauty in me, you will uncover that as well.
So, what are you digging for?
You have created me in your mind and I have created you. I know that my world is nothing more than a product of my imagination, because I’ve imagined it to be so. However, if you want to convince me otherwise, I’m willing to explore your imaginary world, that you call “reality”.
If you imagine what I’m saying is true, then it means one important thing to me; that you are aware that you are in charge. You direct the outcomes of events in your life, with the thoughts and images that you hold inside of your mind.
“Thoughts are living entities”, claims Steve P of White Tiger Tantra. Every thought we entertain in our minds produces an energy, a vibration within us that when multiplied, attracts to us to places, people and situations that resonate at a similar frequency.
However, many people believe that a higher force governs over them pulling the strings, while they remain flaccid puppets…the victims of “circumstance”. There is no point in arguing or trying to convince them otherwise. They are absolutely right, because they have imagined it to be so.
I don’t know about you, but I’d rather stick to beliefs that bring me more fun, excitement and success in life.
The only question then remains…
“How much pleasure can you stand?”-Richard Bandler
Why I Practice Energy Hygiene
Posted by: | CommentsI take personal hygiene very seriously and my daily routine takes me beyond making sure I’ve showered, flossed and scrubbed my teeth…While, I wouldn’t want to offend any passersby with my own negligence, it appears that my consideration for others isn’t always mutual.
Needless to say, my olfactory glands may not be overactive, but my sensory awareness is!
I have a tendency of picking up on all the energetic junk that people schlep around. Most people walk around oblivious to the fact that they are encased in a shell of energetic imprints, transferred to them by family members, friends and lovers. They carry unresolved heartbreak, negative emotions, thoughts and traumas that they transmit to others like a disease, until it realizes itself in physical form.
Nobody has ever taught them how to purify and refine their energy with something so elementary as chakra cleansing. That’s why so many people carry energy that is dirty and grimy. Don’t get me wrong, I care about people very much. In fact, I care so much that I go out of my way to make sure that when I’m interacting with someone, I’m transmitting only the purest energy that I possibly can, because I believe in teaching by example.
But if I don’t succeed in making this world a cleaner place, all I can wish for is that I didn’t have a hand in polluting it.
Is Sex Addiction Real Or A Chakra Imbalance?
Posted by: | CommentsIn a video on CNN, titled “Is Sex Addiction Real?“, a self-proclaimed sex addict claims that he has had between 30 and 35 affairs in his first 20 years of marriage and sometimes had between 3 to 5 orgasms per day.
For now, lets turn our attention away from psychological labels and delve deeper into our energetic system. The Chakras, which can be translated as “spinning wheel” are located in different parts of the body from the root chakra, off of the tailbone, to the crown chakra at the top of the head and with several chakras in between.
Our sexual feelings are primarily governed by our Sacral Chakra, also known as the second or sex chakra. According to author Keith Sherwood, women will often try to repress their sexual energy out of fear of attracting unwanted sexual attention, blocking the energy from flowing upwards. Men often disrupt the flow of sexual energy by using sex like a drug, causing the energy to be lost, instead of drawing the energy up towards the crown.
In my view, people who claim to be “sex addicts”, are constantly allowing their sexual energy to go to waste by drawing energy from the other chakras. The result is they have purely genital orgasms, which leave them feeling depleted and in a state of insatiable desire, regardless of whether it is a craving for cigarettes, alcohol, food, heroine or sex. The excessive act of inhaling, injecting, ingesting or ejaculating, while it satisfies temporarily, it depletes a person energetically.
Fortunately, all is not lost for “sex addicts”. A very simple solution would to practice drawing sexual energy up to the crown at the point of orgasm, by placing your tongue to the roof of your mouth at the soft palate (to prevent a rapid surge of energy to the crown), while imagining drawing the energy from your sex center, with your breath, towards the top of your head.
This is a great exercise for all, because it helps balance out the chakras and transmute sexual energy. A person will experience more overall vitality and a greater capacity to feel love.
White Tiger Tantra: A Journey In Discovery
Posted by: | CommentsAre you ready for an explosion of energy in your life? Then you must be ready to challenge yourself and face the unknown. Many people, who integrate tantra into their relationships or become sole practitioners, quickly notice that their energy begins to oscillate at a much higher rate, which can have a number of effects in the early stages.
Sexual energy is such a powerful force and I believe that tantra should never be practiced as an excuse to indulge sexually, because that energy can consume you if not practiced with a purity of mind and heart.
I’m going to speak from experience, because there are many forms of tantra and not all of them revolve around sex. Many women who experience white tiger tantra massage report a rapid surge in their overall vitality and energy. As the tension from emotional issues are peeled away, like a snake shedding its skin, a feeling of surrender and childlike vulnerability begins to emerge.
And what do snakes do when they shed their skins? They go into hiding, to protect themselves from the dangerous elements outside. Which is exactly what I did for the first couple of months after being initiated into White Tiger Tantra. And those were the greatest months, but also the most challenging of my life, because I had to learn to accept a very powerful shift in my reality.
When someone enters into your life and suddenly awakens you from your slumber, some people are thrilled by what they see and can’t wait to experience the world in a new way. More fragile people tend to retreat and surface only when they have gathered enough strength to embrace the change.
White Tiger Tantra taught me to develop a powerful awareness of self and forced me to reexamine the relationships in my life, that had caused my heart to shut down. A part of me wanted to return to basque in my old, comfortable and slovenly ways. Fortunately, I soon realized that the current of life, that carried me was far greater than anything I could swim against.
Eventually, you have to let go…
A Tantric Perspective On Negative Emotions
Posted by: | CommentsWe all go through our ups and downs and I currently find myself in one of my low periods, due to a series of experiences that happened consecutively over a short period of time, namely the death of a family member and a bunch of drama that ensued afterward. So, I apologize if it’s been over a week since my last post.
However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it’s slowly beginning to give me glimmers of hope. I’m slowly coming to a realization that my pain and sadness seems to disappear naturally when I simply let it be, without resisting it or trying to resolve it too quickly, by sugar-coating it with “positive thinking” and pasting a fake smile on my face.
In tantric philosophy, there is no good or bad, right or wrong. Tantra seeks to bring the individual to a total acceptance of self and all the emotions that are felt. It is when we label certain emotional states as good or bad that we create a fragmentation of ourselves and state of inner separation. Tantric practices aim at uniting all the parts that make up a person.
So what we label as negative emotions are nothing more than a repression of our life force energy or prana. This inner resistance happens when judge in any way what we are feeling. I’ve found that when we tune into our emotions by becoming a neutral observer of our own thoughts and feelings, they dissolve very rapidly and a peaceful inner silence returns…
